| I will seek to make this story short and simply deal with the main factors or I will likely be here all night hitting these keys. In short, my truck was stolen and the Progressive will not pay. They made the claim that I did not comply with their investigation because we did not furnish them with our cell phone report. They, nor their adjuster ever asked for our cell phone account. After we were notified by post that the insurance company sought after the records and didn't possess them we faxed them in using an digital fax website so we have evidence we sent the account. We believe we know who robbed the truck (truck was totalled and smashed, vulgar language written on it, etc...) The weird ingredient is that the insurance company think a key was used. The scum bag who did it was a mechanic I have a disagreement with that lost about a $1900 because he was foolish. Police have cleared both me and my wife... So now what? My insurance agent (who is extremely supportive and I ought to toss a shout out to him) is helpful but there is not much he can achieve. A few thoughts before I make contact with a lawyer.
